SPARC Program pioneers in delivering developmental solutions to Members of the Parliament to improve public service delivery in the most marginalised communities in India

______________________

SPARC, a one year program by Swaniti Initiative, places an associate with a Member of Parliament (MP) to curate and implement the constituency development projects. Associates work as catalysts to mobilize resources from poorly performing government schemes and programs or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds by working through the office of the MP and activating key levers within the governmental system.

Associates focus on creating an ecosystem for more sustainable, high-impact and effective interventions.

SPARC projects span across sectors including Education, Health, Livelihoods, Social Welfare, Water & Sanitation and Energy.

In Their Words

A well-structured program that offers a platform for young people to involve themselves in the process of effective policy-making while working with Parliamentarians. SPARC gives youth and MPs a chance to explore the possibilities for novel interventions pertaining to critical constituency – specific requirements.

Dr. Shashi Tharoor

Member of Parliamment, Thiruvananthapuram

SPARC Associates who worked with me were well qualified individuals with a sense of social responsibility. They analyzed government data and provided solutions specific to my constituency. I strongly encourage young individuals to engage with policy makers and work together to bring about change!

Anurag Thakur

Member of Parliament, Hamirpur

SPARC plays an instrumental role in driving data-driven governance in the constituency and ensures that good governance leads to a better implementation of schemes as well as how you can innovate optimal solutions.
